I would like to encourage everyone to email each of your Senators and Joe Lieberman and ask that they not block a vote on Health Care.
If you need a template please use the following:
Dear Sen. _______,
My name is ______________. I would like to ask that you not block an up or down vote on the purposed Senate Health Care Bill.
When the Republicans wanted Bush's tax cuts the Democrats did not use stall tactics or filibusters to stop thier passage. Please allow the Democrats the same courtesy and not block a vote.
I understand that you may not be able to support the passage of the legislation but that in no way affords you the right to stand in the way of this much needed change.
The people of our state and the rest of the country will thank you for your actions.
Thank You,

Let's try all terrorists in military courts!
For any one out there that believes that the Obama administration is wrong for trying 9/11 terrorists in a New York court I say "get over it."
With your logic Timothy McVeigh should have been tried in a military court, Eric Robert Rudolph should have been tried in a military court. Why not try anyone in the Army of God that commits an act of violence in a military court (Army is in their name!).
Rudy Gulliani said that trying terrorist in criminal Federal courts show the superiority of our system. Now he says that this is a mistake to try these guys in a Federal criminal court.
It seems as though many of the right wing pundits have seen "16 Blocks" or "Gauntlet" too many times. If they think that terrorist attacks are more likely to happen during the trials then at any other time, why didn't terrorist attack during the trial of the Blind Sheik?
The real reason they wouldn't try Tim McVeigh or ERR is they are white, Christians!
If we housed white Christian terrorists at Gitmo they would be asking why they could not be housed in normal prisons.
Face it, the right has it's own dictionary and "xenophobic" is no where in there.
