I know what a derivative is Wilkow!!!!!!!

I have to admit that I listen to Andrew Wilkow. I have even called and been hung up on by his producer and the man himself.

For those who have no idea who Wilkow is just take Hannity and Glenn Beck and add a health dose of Savage. Give the guy a New Yawk accent and you have the man known as Andrew Wilkow.

Today, as I got my wife and I lunch, I heard him say that liberals don't know what a derivative is but if Obama tells us to not like it we join the herd and scream about derivatives. This has to be the most ridiculous thing this guy has said in weeks.

A derivative is basically a bet on what the price of a stock or commodity will be in a predetermined set of time. The Bear Stearns and Shittybanks of the world used these bets to hedge their own trades and made millions when others, like all of us, got screwed. Derivatives are nothing but bets, like any good gambling addict knows. There are people out there that bet on what the half time score of basketball games will be that are more ethical than these guys on Wall Street that screwed the rest of the country.

It maybe crazy but I have a thought about why this and other bad practices where the norm from 2002 onward. Yes, it has to do with the Grahmm-Leach-Bliley Act, but I think that some of this has to do with the human capital lost on 9/11.

I'm not saying that those who died in the WTC were perfect but I think that didn't have their heads this far up their own assess. Thanks again Bin Laden et al.

As for Wilkow he has a stupid slogan that is "We're Right, They're Wrong. End of Story".

We for this one:

"I'M RIGHT, YOU'RE WRONG. AND THAT'S THE END OF THE STORY, ID10T!"
